以前もブログでご紹介した新川の隠れ家的カフェバー、KayGee'sで待望のランチライブイベントのお知らせです。　

このお店のライブはいつも夜に予定されていたので中々行けず、今回はランチ付の昼のライブなので友人を誘って参加しようと思います。　　

　

ボーカルはジャズ、ボサノバ、ポップス等何でも歌いこなしてしまう山村いつかさん、ギターはセッション、レコーディング、ライブ活動の傍らでギター教室を開き、ギターを愛してやまない進藤洋樹さん。 この二人のライブを以前丸の内の某カフェにて聴いた事があるのですが、本当に心地よいアコースティックサウンドが体に沁みわたり、心が解きほぐされるような素敵な時間が過ごせます。　　

Kaygee's のランチまで付いて4,700円税込（ランチ/ワンドリンク付）はかなりお得、席数も最大で30名までなので、丁度良いサイズです。

Yes, I have been waiting for this, Cafe Bar "Kaygee's" in Shinkawa is scheduling Lunch Time Acoustic Live Event. 　

Since this will be held during daytime with lunch, I am willing to go with my friend because almost every past live event were held at night which was difficult for me to join.　　　

　

Vocalist Itsuka Yamamura can really sing. Her repertories are Jazz, Bosa Nova, Pops, etc, she can sing almost anything. You just can't help feeling happy listening to Gutarist Hiroki Shido's performance since he is so much devoted to guitar. He is also a busy man doing session with artists, recording, his own live, and even guitar lesson class.　
I once saw their performance at cafe in Marunouchi. They enthralled everyone with their smooth acoustic sound, that soaked into everyones' body and soul, making everyone soft and relaxed.

Charge is JPY4,700 per person including tax, lunch and one drink which is quite reasonable. The place is cozy and pleasant with 30 seats which is just the right size for acoustic live performance.

先月浜離宮恩賜庭園を知人と訪れた時に初めて知ったのですが、園内では洒落た番傘を日傘替わりに無料貸し出ししてくれます。　

日差しが強い日には暑さしのぎだけでは無く、日焼け予防にもなり、とても便利だと思いました。　

外国からのお客様にも評判は上々のようでした。　

　

　

Last month, when I visited Hamarikyu Garden with my friend, I have found out that the park offers free rental Japanese style parasol.　

This paper made parasol not only keeps off the heat but also avoids direct sunlight which I thought was very convenient.

Foreign guests also seemed to be satisfied with the parasol.

Have you ever been to Nakanishi Shopping Street in Tsukishima area, known as Monja Street?　

Recently, the place is gaining varieties of shops and restaurants.

Like a famous Humberger Shop that was introduced by TV so many times, a very popular bakery that sells "Melon Bread", an authentic Japanese Restaurant that won a Michelin star, and a most delicious gelato take out shop that gourmets just can't resist.　

So why don't you come and stop over?

　

 

 

　

石川島公園を隅田川沿いに歩いていると様々な船の往来を見ることができます。

その中でも一番好きな舟が目の前を通りました。　

　

You can easily encounter varieties of boats when you walk around Ishikawajima Park along Sumida River. 　

One of my favorite boat just came along.　

　

　

　

調べてみると船名は「竜馬」でした。　船内はアーリーアメリカン調の落ち着いた雰囲気で、屋上デッキからも景観を楽しむ事ができるようです。

一度浜離宮から乗船したことがあります。

何気ない風景ですが、素敵です。

　

The name of the boat was "Ryoma". 　The inboard interior has a taste of eary American style and passengers can go up on the roof deck to enjoy wonderful scenery.　

I myself once boarded on this boat.　

Just an ordinary scene is just fine for me.　

　

 

 

　

６月１７日（土）にNPO法人水都東京を創る会による外国人対象の英語ガイドクルーズが開催されました。　

　

On Saturday, June 17th, "Tokyo River Special Cruise" was held for non-Japanese guests organized by NPO Suito Tokyo wo Tsukurukai.

　

　

　

　

日本橋から乗船し、隅田川に向かい、清澄橋から蝋燭のようにそびえ立つスカイツリーを眺め晴海運河へ。　

　

Guests boarded from Nihonbashi Wharf, headed for Sumida River, observed Kiyosumibashi and Tokyo Skytree which looked like candle standing from candle stand, and went into Harumi Canal. 　

　

　

　

　

　

　

　

　

　

　

　

　

その後東京湾に出て、晴海埠頭やレインボーブリッジを眺め、浜離宮や築地市場を左手に上流し、亀島川から日本橋方面へ戻るコースでした。　

　

From Harumi Canal, the boat went out to Tokyo Bay seeing Harumi Pier and facing Rainbow Bridge, turned back to see Hmarikyu Garden and Tsukiji Fish Market on the left and sailed through Kamejima River to return for Nihonbashi.　　

　

　

　

外国人のお客様は皆大喜び、クルーズは盛況裏のうちに終了しました。　

　

Every guest enjoyed this fabulous cruise and the event ended successfully.

　

 

 

　

小伝馬町　十思公園内の時の鐘は初めは江戸城内に造られ、その後徳川秀忠の時代に本石三丁目（現在の日本橋室町四丁目）に移され、明治時代に現在地に設置されました。　

　

Tokinokane Hour Bell in Jisshi Park was initially built in Edo Castle and was transferred to 3 chome Honkoku (Currently 4 chome Nihombashi) during General Tokugawa Hidetada's regime, and was relocated to current position in Meiji era.　

　

　

　

　

江戸時代に庶民が時刻を知る方法は時の鐘を聞くことでした。　

江戸には９ヵ所（①本石町　②上野寛永寺　③芝切通し　④市ヶ谷八幡　⑤赤坂円通寺　⑥目黒不動尊　⑦浅草寺　⑧本所横堀　⑨四谷天龍寺）の時の鐘が設置されていた時期があり、基準の本石町の時の鐘の三つの捨て鐘が鳴り始まると、他の鐘がリレー方式で鳴らして行ったと伝えられています。

そこら中で鐘の音が聞こえ、賑やかでしたでしょうね。　

　

During Edo era, local people were able to know the time by listennng to Tokinokane Hour Bell.

Once in Edo era, there used to be 9 Tokinokane Bells in the city (①Honkoku ②Ueno Kaneiji Temple ③Shiba ④Ichigaya Hachiman ⑤Akasaka Entsuji Temple ⑥Megurofudoson ⑦Sensoji Temple ⑧Honjoyokobori ⑨Yotsuya Tenryuji Temple) and when the leading Bell, which is told to be Honkoku Bell, started to make 3 prediction gong like 3 pips, the other Bells began to gong one after anther like a relay.

People must have heard bells from all over the place.　

　

　

捨て鐘は短く３回打たれ、その後長い間隔をあけて時刻数の鐘が鳴り響きました。

当時の３回の捨て鐘は現在も時報の予報音「ピ・ピ・ピ・ピー」として継承されていると伝えられています。

江戸文化が今も生活の中に溶け込んでいるようです。

　

After short 3 pips, the long gongs for the number of actual time were heard.　

The 3 pips are told to be taken over to current time prediction system sound "Pip, pip, pip, peeep".

Even now, Edo culture seems to be in our everyday life.
