先日、はるみほっとプラザへ行き、２階窓から東京オリンピック・パラリンピック選手村予定地の工事が着々と進んでいる様子を見てきました。　

Trough the window of the second floor of Harumi Hot Plaza, have seen proceeding building construction for plannned Atheletes' Village for Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games 2020.　　　　

室内の冷房が快適なのと今しか見れない風景に見入ってしまい、つい長居してしまいました。　２階にはカフェもあり、見学にはとても良い場所です。　

Since the place was indoor and was comfortably air-conditioned and the scence can only be seen at this moment, stayed there quite a while.　

You can also enjoy Cafe on the same 2nd floor to observe the spot.　

隅田川を浅草方面に上り、後方に永代橋、前方に清州橋を見渡すポイントに好きな景観があります。　

重厚な永代橋を振り向きつつ、優美な清州橋と東京スカイツリーのコントラストに夢中になりがちですが、箱崎方面（左手）に門のようなピロティがある高層ビルがあります。　

両側が居住空間でピロティより上の階がオフィスとして使われているらしいです。　

Going upstream Sumida River, I have a favorite view point of mine in between Eitaibashi Bridge and Kiyosubashi Bridge.　
People usually look back to see stately Eitaibashi Bridge as well as looking forward to see elegant Kiyosubashi Bridge and Tokyo Skytree behind, but there is an interesting builiding adopting piloti frame on the Hakozaki (letf) side of the river. 　Both sides of lower floors are residence and floors above piloti are for business offices.　　

もちろん永代橋も清州橋も好きな景観ですが、川から見る建物は地上で見るとのはまた違って見え楽しめます。　船上からの景観鑑賞は是非お勧めしたい観光の一つです。

Eitaibashi Bridge and Kiyosubashi Bridge are also lovely, but observing various buildings from the river is so different from seeing them on the ground that can attract you so much.　

River cruising is one the activity that can never let you down.

スポーツ庁がスニーカー通勤を奨励していると聞きましたが、確かに通勤電車内にスニーカーを履いている人を多く見かけるようになりました。

さすがにまだスーツにスニーカー姿のビジネスマンは見ていませんが、小洒落た格好にスニーカーを履いた女性をよく見かけます。　

で、ご紹介したいのは、スニーカーには全く関係無く、作品名が「NIKE」です。　恐らくナイキでは無く、ニケなのでしょう。　
　

Recently, Japanese Government is encouraging business persons to wear sneakers and as a fact, you can bump into many of working persons wearing sneakers on trains.　
As a matter of fact, you cannot easily encounter business suits workers with sneakers but there are many business women dressed neatly and enjoying their fancy sneakers.　

What this blog is about has nothing to do with sport shoes, but what would like to write about is titled "NIKE" which probably has different pronounciating with the sport wear company.

こちらの銅像は新川の東京住友ツインビルの裏手の広場に置かれています。　

This statue is placed at the backyard of Tokyo Smitomo Twin Building.　

作者は朝倉響子さん、大隈重信像などの作品で著名な朝倉文夫さんのお嬢さんです。

谷中の朝倉彫塑館には何度か見学に行っていたので、近くにお嬢さんの作品を見れて個人的に嬉しかったです。表側にも「Summer」という作品がありますので、ご興味ある方は是非お散歩がてらにご鑑賞下さい。（涼しくなってから）　

The sculpture is Kyoko Asakura, a daughter of Japanese great artist Fumio Asakura who is famous for "Shigenobu Okura" (statue) and others.

Visiting Asakura Sculpture Museum in Yanaka was just wonderful but seeing his daughter's masterpiece around the neighborhood was just delightful. On the other side of the building, there is also Kyoto Asakura's statue titled "Summer". If you are an art lover, maybe it is nice to include this spot in your walking course. (When the weather gets cooler)　

築地場外を歩いていたらターレTシャツを発見！　外国からのお客様に人気があるそうです。

As walking through Tsukiji Outer Market, found Turret truck printed T-shirt!　　Seems to be popular amoung foreign tourists.

ターレの、自動販売機もありました。 　

Also found miniature toy Turret capsule machine. 　

そして更に猫のかぶり物自動販売機までありました。　

Also, cat's costume capsule machine. 　

場所は晴海通りから築地西通りを入ってすぐのところ。 　　

築地はいつ行っても新たな発見がある楽しい場所ですね。 　

The place is along Tsukiji Nishi Dori (street), just a few walk from Harumi Street.

Tsukiji is such an enjoyable place where you can always find something new.　　

日本橋方面からお散歩がてら新川方面へ移動。途中小腹が減ったので洋食屋「ターbou」で昼食を。　

こちらのお店は誠実なご主人の人柄がそのまま味に出ている素敵なお店。　

ハンバーグナポリタン、と聞くとちょっとくどそう、と中高年は選択しないものですが、なぜかここのものはサラっと食べれてしまう不思議な一品。野菜の出汁が効いたあっさり風味のお味噌汁も付いてきます。

なんと言っても土曜日ランチの料金が平日と変わらないのも魅力。

お試しあれ。

Walked from Nihonbashi district to Shinkawa district. Stopped over at cozy restaurant "Ta-bou".

The food is just fine! Cooked by the owner chef neatly and faithfully, like his personality.

My favorite "Hamburg Steak with Napolitan Pasta" sounds very strong taste dish and not so many seniors will not order usually. But when it comes to this restaurant, amazingly, even seniors can enjoy such dish served with vegetable based miso soup.

Also, the place serves lunch on Saturdays with the same price as weekdays. Isn't this wonderful?

久々の佃散歩。佃小橋方面から佃公園を見るとそこには素敵な影のレースが。　中央区にも自然の中でほっとできる場所があります。

While walking around Tsukuda area, found a nice lace shadow by looking at Tsukuda Park from Tsukuda-kobashi bridge direction.　
There are places in Chuo-ward that people can feel the nature and relax.
