久々の晴海散歩。　日々風景が変わっていくのを感じます。　

　

It's been a while since I last took a walk around Harumi area. You can feel that things are changing day by day.　

　

　

　

　

これが豊洲大橋ですか。　　

　

So this must be Toyosu Ohashi (Bridge).　　

　

　

　

　

晴海から日本橋に船が出ています。　　週末だけのようですが。　

　

There seems to be a river boat from Harumi to Nihonbashi. Only operates on weekends.　

　

　　

　

　

そして晴海トリトンスクエアに到着。　　土日でもショップ営業しているのでとても便利です。　　　

　　

Arrived at Harumi Triton Square. The place is very convenient since the shops open even on weekends.　

　

　

 

 

　

新川1丁目のコンビニにふらっと立ち寄ってみました。　

Made a stop at a convenience store in 1-chome Shinkawa area.　

　

　

　

　

　

そこはまるでカウンター席とスタンドのカフェみたい。　

The place was like a cafe with counter seats and standing tables.　　

　

　

　

　

　

夜はつまみと一緒に軽く飲めそう。　Convenient! (便利！） 　

Maybe, if you visit the place after dark, you can enjoy some drinks and refreshments. How convenient!

勝どき交差点を通り過ぎ清澄通りを進み、豊海町2丁目の角を晴海方面に左折すると東京湾を臨むオープンテラステストラン"マグロ卸のマグロ丼"があります。

　

Walk Kiyosumi street through Kachidoki crossing to Toyomi area, turn left at 2 Toyomicho corner and you will find an open terrace restaurant facing Tokyo Bay called "Maguro Oroshino Magurodon (Tuna Sashimi Rice Bowl by Whole Seller)".

　

　　

　

　

なんとマグロ丼は500円から！

　

Unbelievablly, a tuna sashimi rice bowl can be ordered from JPY500!

　

　

　

　

　　

正面に晴海埠頭、オリンピック選手村予定地、右側にレインボーブリッジを眺めながらマグロ丼に舌づつみ。

　

You can taste wonderful tuna sashimi rice bowl and enjoy the view of Harumi pier and planned 2020 Olympic Atheletes' Accommodation Village in front and Rainbow Bridge on right.

　

　

　

　　

　

お店は昼までの営業で、夜間は別名・別業態で営業。　

冬でも晴れた日は日差しが気持ちよく、リゾート気分を味わえます。　

オリンピックの頃には目ざといアスリートが来店するかもしれません。

　

The restaurant opens from morning to lunch hours and the name and the operation changes during night hours.　

Even during winter, you can bask and feel like you are in a beach resort on a sunny day.

Maybe at the time of 2020 Olympics, curious atheletes might visit the place.

昨年11月に晴海トリトンスクエアにオープンしたブルックリン・ロースティング・カンパニーを訪問。

　

Brooklyn Roasting Company on 2nd floor of Harumi Triton Square just opend lat November.

　

　

　

　

店内は米国東海岸の雰囲気漂うおしゃれ雑貨が並び、見ているだけでも楽しめます。

カウンターやゆったり座れるスペースで頂くコーヒーは￥360～でリーズナブル。

　

A cup of coffee costs JPY360～ which is quite reasonable, and you can have it at the counter or sofa area.

　　

　

　

　

　

ソファスペースからは（仮）朝潮運河歩行者専用橋（現在名称募集中）が良く見えます。

　

From sofa area, you can have a nice view of the new bridge tentatively called Asashio Unga Hokosha Senyohashi (Asashio Canal Pedestrian Bridge).　

　

　

　　　

　

2020のオリンピックの頃は外国の方々がどっと押し寄せて店が占拠されてしまいそうな気がします。

　

Easy to guess that the place will be conquerd by foreign guests during the 2020 Olympics.

 

 

　

晴海の月島第三小学校とトリトンスクエアの間にある晴海第一公園で小宇宙を発見。

　
A microcosmos can be found at Harumi Daiichi Park located between Harumi Daisan Elementry School and Harumi Toriton Square.

　

　

　

　

こちらのオブジェは"The Universal Language of U"と題され、時間・歴史・記憶・物語・交流をキーワードとして小宇宙というべき無限の奥行きと繋がりが表現されているようです。

　

This art is titled "The Universal Language of U" that features Time, History, Memory, Story, Interaction to describe eternal microcosmos.

　　

　

　

日本人宇宙飛行士が滞在した国際宇宙ステーションは上空約400㎞の軌道を周回しており、直線距離として大体東京ー大阪間ぐらいです。

宇宙は以外と近いのですね。

　　

International Space Station that orbits around the earth where Japanese Astronouts stayed, is about 400km above the ground which is almost equivalent to distance between Tokyo/Osaka.

Space seems to be not that far.

　

　

こちらの身近な小宇宙公園も落ち着けて素敵です。　 散歩途中の一休みに丁度良いかもしれません。

　

The local microcosmic park is very peaceful and pleasant.　　 A nice spot to take a rest.

　

　

　

 

 

先日外国の方と日本語と英語のチャンポン会話をしていた時に印象深い言葉を耳にしました。　

開通前の築地大橋の事を"(currently) A Bridge to Nowhere"と言っていたのです。　

外国の方は興味深い表現をするなと思いました。　

そして今後海外より来日される方々に築地大橋の説明をする際にこの表現も使えるかもしれないと思いました。　

開通していなくても築地大橋は既に観光資源ですから。　

　

　

When I was having Japanese/English conversation with non-Japanese person the other day, I heard something very unique.　

Regarding the Tsukiji Ohashi (bridge) which is not yet operated, this person called it "(currently) A Bridge to Nowhere".　

I found this expression very interesting and kept it in my mind so that if I ever have an opportunity to explain about the current bridge, this phrase could also be used.　

Tsukiji Ohashi (bridge) is already one of the sightseeing resource.　

Even things that are not on the track can sometimes be appreciated.
