令和にもあった！海水館。
こんにちは、壱路です。 先ずは「海水館」って何？？ですが… 明治38年開業、明治・大正の文人が集った割烹旅館。 当時、このあたりは東京湾を一望する風光明媚で閑静な場所だったようで、多数の文人がしばしば滞在、文筆・創作活動をしていた場所だとか。 ただ残念ながら旅館は関東大震災で焼失、現在その跡地には当時をしのぶ記念碑が建てられています。

With the Arrival of Spring, Ryogoku Bridge Lights Up
As spring arrives, Ryogoku Bridge, which spans the Sumida River, has begun to show off a new look. After a long period of construction to install aesthetic lighting, the work was finally completed in March of this year. At last, the bridge is now illuminated. While many other bridges over the Sumida River had already been lit up, Ryogoku Bridge remained dark, which felt somewhat lonely—but now it has joined the illuminated group. In this month’s blog, I’d like to introduce the newly lit-up Ryogoku Bridge.
