The 48th Gono-chan Community Sports Day
August and September were much rainier than usual this year. According to the news, rain was recorded in Tokyo for 37 consecutive days, and it rained every day in September.As October arrived, the rainy weather finally began to ease, and we have been enjoying a succession of pleasant autumn days. On October 4, the annual autumn event of the Nihonbashi Gono-bu area, the Gono-chan Community Sports Day, was held at Hamacho Ground. This time, I would like to introduce this local event and share what makes it so special.

I Joined the Oedo Matsuri Bon Odori Festival!
Every year in late August, the Oedo Matsuri Bon Odori Festival is held at Hamacho Park in Nihonbashi Hamacho, Tokyo. It is one of Chuo Ward’s most popular summer events, attracting a large number of people.In 2026, the festival was held over two days, on Friday, August 21, and Saturday, August 22.
